This letter serves to the credibility and standard of HA Cricket. They have established themselves as first class coaches that have produced quality cricketers at all levels. HA Cricket have based themselves at the University of KZN (PMB) and are in a partnership with the University. Garry Hampson coaches the University 1st XI.
As experienced 1st class cricketers and highly qualified coaches, Garry and Paul have the credentials to ensure talented players make it to the top. They have a professional approach to their coaching and function at a very high standard. Both Garry and Paul have special skills to work with cricketers from the beginners stage through to 1st class cricketers.
The University team has achieved significant results over the past few years under Garry’s coaching, winning the KZN Inland Premier League for 4 consecutive seasons and finishing 2nd in their pool at the National Club Championships in 2007.

'Having played professional cricket for ten years I have been fortunate to have traveled to many different countries.
Between the ages of 24 and 27 I went over to Australia to play. To be able to experience different pitches and differing opinions on cricket on enhanced my cricket knowledge. These 3 seasons abroad developed me not only as a cricketer but also as an individual. I wish I had done it earlier!!

I have also been on many Pre season tours to South Africa and have witnessed the First class facilities and hospitality in Pietermaritzburg. They have a fantastic set up and it was a place where we as a team could focus purely on our cricket. It is a beautiful part of the world, a place where the people are sport mad, and place that would only help develop your cricket and you as an individual.'
